Romeo Peaches Softball Is Already Looking Ahead to 2026–2027 🍑

It might feel early with the current season still in full swing, but for the Romeo Peaches, the future starts now. Planning for the 2026–2027 season is officially underway, and the organization is taking a proactive approach to ensure players and families have plenty of time to prepare.

While some clubs begin tryouts as early as May, the Peaches are targeting July 16–17 (tentative) for their upcoming tryouts. That said, now is the time for interested players to start thinking seriously about their next season—and to secure their opportunity to be part of a growing, competitive program.

Building on Momentum

The Romeo Peaches are coming off a strong year of interest and participation, with nearly 125 offseason inquiries and over 250 players attending tryouts last season. That momentum is fueling plans for an even bigger year ahead.

For the 2026–2027 season, the organization is planning teams at:

  • 10U (NEW division)

  • 12U

  • 14U

  • 16U

With numbers like last year’s, it’s safe to say that roster spots will be competitive and fill quickly.

What Returning Players Need to Know

If you’re already part of the Peaches program, tryouts are still a must. This isn’t just a routine step—it’s an opportunity to demonstrate continued growth, commitment, and competitive drive.

Returning players will receive priority consideration, often referred to as the “right of first refusal,” when team offers are extended. But that priority comes with the expectation of showing up ready to compete.

New Players: Your Opportunity Starts Here

For athletes new to the Peaches, this is your chance to step into a program focused on development, competition, and team culture. Players are encouraged to bring not just their skills, but also their energy and passion for the game.

Whether you’re looking to elevate your performance or find a team that supports long-term growth, the Peaches are building something special—and there’s room for players ready to rise to the challenge.

What to Expect at Tryouts

Tryouts will be structured to evaluate players thoroughly while maintaining a high-energy, competitive environment. Participants can expect:

  • Intense, game-like evaluations

  • Placement decisions based on skill development, team fit, and long-term potential

  • The possibility of multiple teams per age group, depending on turnout and talent level

At its core, the Romeo Peaches organization is focused on building teams that grow together—on and off the field. With early planning, expanding age groups, and strong community interest, the 2026–2027 season is shaping up to be one of their most exciting yet.

If you’re thinking about your next step in softball, now’s the time to take action.
