Rattle in Romeo
The 2nd Annual Rattle in Romeo Is Almost Here
Tournament — Romeo Peaches Softball Club — October 2026
Twenty-two teams. Four divisions. One Halloween weekend. Here’s everything you need to know before October 24.
We started the Rattle in Romeo last year with a simple idea: bring a real, well-run fastpitch tournament back to our hometown and build something the community could be proud of. Year one went great. Year two is sold out.
The 2nd Annual Rattle in Romeo goes October 24–25 at Crystal Diamonds in Bruce Township, and we’ve worked hard to make this year run even smoother. New teams, better logistics, and a whole lot more Halloween energy on the fields.
The Weekend
Saturday is pool play — every team gets 3+ guaranteed games across the weekend on three fields starting at 8:20 AM. Standings update throughout the day and post at Tournament HQ. Sunday is single-elimination bracket play, with each division playing through to a championship.
Saturday, Oct 24 — Pool Play + Halloween Chaos

Sunday, Oct 25 — Championship Day
All teams advance — Single elimination — Play for the hardware
Playoff games run 70 minutes. Championship games go 90. The full weekend schedule — every matchup, every field, every time slot — is on the tournament website.
Who’s Playing
This year’s field spans four divisions: 9/10U, 11/12U, 13/14U, and 15/16U. Twenty-two total teams from across Southeast Michigan, including Romeo Peaches squads representing all four age groups as the host club.
Some familiar programs are back from last year. A handful of new teams are making their first trip to Romeo. All of them earned their spot — registration filled fast and we’ve been at capacity for weeks.

Saturday Events
Pool play is the main event on Saturday, but there’s more happening between games. We’re running a costume contest for players and teams — judges will be making their rounds throughout the day. Halloween is kind of our thing, and we lean into it.
The Donut Championship is also back — one of our fan-favorite Saturday events. Details on the tournament site.
The Hoodie
We designed a limited-run Rattle in Romeo 2026 hoodie for the tournament and it’s available to order online. If you want one, grab it before the weekend — inventory is limited and we won’t be restocking after the tournament.
Good Luck to Everyone
On behalf of the Romeo Peaches Softball Club and our entire volunteer tournament staff — thank you for being part of this. We’re proud to host this many teams in our backyard and we’re going to do everything we can to make it a weekend worth remembering.
Good luck to all teams. And go Peaches.
