A: For our first season, the Peaches expect to compete at the C to B level. Our focus is on strong coaching, skill development, and creating a team culture where players can grow, gain confidence, and have fun.
If you’re currently an A-level player on a highly competitive, established club, this may not be the best fit — but if you're looking for a competitive team with a supportive vibe and meaningful playing time, the Peaches could be a great match.
A:
August–October: About twice a week, focusing on skill development and team chemistry.
November–March: Reduced to once a week, with breaks around holidays and school vacations.
March–July: Back to twice weekly, with more game-focused sessions as tournaments begin.
Outdoor practices will be held in Romeo and Northern Macomb County, while indoor facilities will be located in Shelby Township.
A: Most teams play in a local league during spring and fall for extra reps. In addition, expect around 1–2 tournaments per month, starting in the fall. We focus mostly on one-day events to help balance softball with family life.
A: Most competition is local play, typically within Macomb, Oakland, and Lapeer Counties to keep travel manageable. If a team excels, we may elevate them to state or regional tournaments to provide greater opportunities and match their growth. We aim to balance competition, convenience, and development.
The Peaches season is a full-year commitment, running from August through July. Players can expect consistent development, team-building, and competitive play throughout all seasons.
A: Team fees for the 2025–2026 season range from $1,450 to $1,650, depending on the age group. These fees cover uniforms, league and tournament entry, coaching, field rentals, and more. For full details, visit our Fees page.
Teams at Romeo Peaches are formed through a collaborative process involving our coaching staff, club leadership, and independent evaluators. This ensures fair, balanced, and competitive teams where every player has room to grow. While we don't accept friend requests, we do accommodate sibling requests to help families stay together.
A: Yes! Some players will receive on-site offers at tryouts. Others will be contacted within 72 hours after tryouts end. Once an offer is made, a commitment and deposit are due within 24 hours to hold your spot.
A: At Romeo Peaches, we have a structured practice schedule designed to optimize the progress and performance of our participants. Here’s the breakdown of our schedule for the year 2025-2026: - August '25 - October '25: Practices will be held twice a week. - November '25 - March '26: Practices will be reduced to once a week. We try and take most of the month of December off and leave time off around times like spring break and other school breaks. - March '26 - July '26: We will return to twice-weekly practice sessions. This schedule is crafted to balance intensity with recovery periods, ensuring participants can train effectively throughout different stages of the year.
